Passeport

Through hiker permit for shelters and camping without reservations, along IAT Québec, including Gaspésie Park.

Price = 300 $ and 500 $ for two.

Règlements

  • Give up his/her plaœ in a shelter or on a camping platform to a hiker with a Sepaq reservation.
  • Camp on camping sites only, in or near IAT/QC shelters.
  • The hiker may use the accommodation from 3 PM.
  • The hiker has to quit before 10 AM.
  • Keep his/her passport easy to see and show it, if required, to Rangers, Keepers and hikers with an official Sepaq reservation.
  • Submit a copy of your his/her itinerary and the starting date of the hike.
  • At the end of the hike, complete a questionnaire (trip report).
  • Passport is non-transferable.
  • Passport is refundable 30 days before departure only, with a penalty of 25$

 

Shelters and camping

VALLÉE DE LA MATAPÉDIA : Matapédia, Turcotte, Corbeau, Quartz, Ruisseaux-Creux, Les Chutes, L’Érablière, Les Champs, Les Trois-Sœurs.

MATANE WILDLlFE RESERVE: Ruisseau-des-Pitounes, Lac-Tombereau, Montagne-à-Valcourt, Lac-Matane, Lac-du-Gros-Ruisseau. Mont-Craggy, Lac-Beaulieu, Petit-Sault, Ruisseau-Bascon.

GASPÉSIE PARK : La Nyctale shelter and the following campsites : Le Kalmia ; Le Saule ; Lac Cascapédia; La Fougère ; La Rivière ; La Camarine; Mont-Jacques-Cartier. Except for the Nyctale shelter, the passport only allows use of the camping platforms specially indicated for long distance hikers. At the Cascapédia and Mont-Jacques-Cartier campgrounds, there are no specially indicated platforms – the passport holder may use any site. Passport holders have access to sanitary blocks and any other services at the campsites.

UPPER GASPÉ: Cabourons.

GASPÉ COAST: Grand-Saut, Terrasses, Cascades, La Chute, Zéphir, Carriéres, Érabliére.
