Winter Hike
It is possible to do various winter activities in the national parks that are crossed by the tail and, for the 2009 - 2010 winter season, the IAT - QC offers one opporutinity for backcountry cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, the Sentier des monts Clark in Matapedia Valley. The remaining of the trail is not blazed for winter and, even though wood is added at the beginning of the summer, it is not garanteed that there will be some left in the refuges when winter comes. For those reasons, the IAT - QC can not offer more opportunities but we want to change this situation over the years.
