Respect the rules

The planning of an excursion, separately the choice of the path, especially consists in selecting the material and working out the menus. You need enough material to meet all your needs, but you also should keep your back bag as light as possible. Only a neat planning and a meticulous person attention with the details make it possible to arrive at a happy medium.

The modern hiker must be able to look behind him and not to see any trace of his passage. Any camper who achieves this goal finds there a source of satisfaction and pride which are added to the pleasure of the excursion.

Seasons of the year - the majority of the hikers particularly affectionnent August at October, because of the scarcity of the insects stitchers, the freshness of the nights and the softness of the days. The conditions can also be extremely favorable May beginning, but as of the end of the month, and throughout June, the black flies and the mosquitos reign as Masters. The number of insects falls in July, but the wet heat which prevails often then can spoil the pleasure of the hikers.

Bears

Carry the remainders of food with you in well closed containers, in order not to attract the bears or the raccoons. Moreover, keep your food in your bag and suspend it with a branch or between two trees, with two meters of the neighbouring trunks and at least three meters height.

• take time to examine the ways well on a chart and ensure you to choose a course which is appropriate to you.
• Be certain to hold the reservations necessary to use the refuges.
• warn somebody of our destination and the moment of our return
• registered with all the boxes of recording
• remain on the path marked out to respect the property of others
• wear a lawful number in season of hunting
• observe the plants, smeel the flowers without gathering them
• stop when the night is falling not to lose itself
• use a stove to cook or heat themselves; no wood fire
• bring back its waste; do not buried them
  

The rules: Code of ethics

The users will have to conform to a policy of respect of the environment; to bring back all waste, not to use or throw the cleaning products, such as the soap or any other substance, in the lakes or river (curry-in curry-out). It is interdict to make fires throughout the trail. The users will be responsible to purify their water and to see with their own safety on the trail. It is defended to pass more than three nights consecutive to the same shelter or site of camp-site along the trail. The users will have to leave in good condition the places which they occupied and the equipment that they used.

The hiker must realize that it traverses of the mountains that several other hikers also furrow. If the forest is in good condition at the time of its passage, it is that there were concerned people of the environment who passed there before. It should be made so that those which will follow can also benefit from all this beauty. It is necessary to learn how to respect and protect nature.

For that, it is always necessary to go on the trails in order not to damage the fragile and typical vegetation mountains. Even when there is snow on the ground, it is necessary to stick to the trails.

It is also necessary to camp at the places indicated, to bring back all its waste, not throw anything in the rivers (soap, urine, food, etc), and to respect the animals while abstaining from nourishing them.

The hiker also owes good manners in group. For that, it is necessary for him to respect a rhythm of walk established according to the slowest person. To also respect the tiredness of the others so that all return in form and happy. It is necessary to know to help, to take part in all the tasks, and to respect the need for calm and silence of the members of the group.


Domestics animals

It should be noted that in the parks, reserves and zecs, the presence of domestic animals is prohibited. It is strongly disadvised bringing its dog with oneself in the trails. At the very least is necessary it to get informed near the organization or about the municipality which manages the trail that you project to traverse.
